Biography

Born in 1991, Jin Hong received his Ph.D. degree from Sun Yat-sen University, and was a joint Ph.D. student at the University of Leicester (UK) supervised by Prof. Yudong Zhang (Changjiang Scholar). He was a postdoctoral fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong supervised by Prof. Weitian Chen. He is a full member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society (since 2023). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nanchang University. His research interests are deep learning and medical image analysis.

He has hosted 1 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project and 1 Jiangxi Provincial Natural Science Foundation project, and participated in 3 NSFC projects. He has published over 40 papers in journals and conferences, including 23 as first/corresponding author in SCI journals such as Knowledge-Based Systems, Applied Soft Computing, Neural Networks, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, Computers in Biology and Medicine, etc. His Google Scholar citations exceed 1318, with an H-index of 18.
